Categories of Slip and Fall Accidents

Slip and fall and trip and fall injuries from a dangerous or hazardous condition can be painful and debilitating. A slip and fall accident may result from ice, snow, water, rain, or grease on a walking surface or from abrupt changes in flooring, poor lighting, or hidden hazards.

  2. Trip and fall accidents happen when there is a foreign object in walking path.
  3. Step and fall accident happen when there is a hole or unexpected failure in the walking surface.
  4. Stump and fall accidents happen when there is an impediment, such as a power cord, in the walking surface that was not previously there.
