A Pennsylvania woman was recently killed after a hit-and-run accident in West Philadelphia.
The police state a van or car struck the woman as she was walking near the intersection of 53rd and Thomas streets.
Pennsylvania police investigators are still searching for the driver, but did not release a description of the vehicle yet.
The woman was pronounced dead at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
In Montgomery County Pennsylvania, police are investigating another fatal pedestrian accident, but the driver of the striking car stopped.
The woman's age and name have not been released, but she died when the car struck her in Montgomery County.
Police said the driver who hit the unidentified woman did stop, but it is not clear what caused the deadly pedestrian accident.
