A Chester County man suffered serious personal injuries in a drinking-related crash early Tuesday morning according to Lancaster state police.
The Chester County man was flown to Lancaster General Hospital following the 2:02 a.m. crash that happened on Route 741 at Simmontown Road, east of Gap, in Sadsbury Township.
The man, who was listed in serious condition, was driving a Pontiac Grand Am north on Simmontown Road. He failed to stop for a stop sign at Strasburg Road and his car was struck by a Honda Civic.
The other driver reportedly had minor injuries.

Injuries also were reported in connection with three recent crashes at intersections on Chester Road, which include:
- A passenger in a car driven by a 29 year old man was injured when the car collided with another vehicle at Fruitville Pike and Chester Road. The driver failed to stop for a red light, and his car struck another vehicle, which was coming across Chester Road.
