Three Pennsylvania women were hurt in a recent head-on crash on Woodcrest Avenue, southwest of Lititz.
A Geo Tracker driven by a Lititz area woman, collided with a Mercedes station wagon driven by a Willow Green woman.
The auto accident happened in the 600 block of Woodcrest Avenue near Shelly Court. Police said the driver of the Geo Tracker was driving south and apparently failed to notice that traffic had come to a complete stop ahead of her. She swerved to the left into the opposite lane to avoid striking a vehicle directly in front of her. Her car was struck by the station wagon which was heading north.
Numerous Lititz-area firefighters and ambulance workers responded to the crash scene. Both drivers and another teenage girl were taken to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment.
The girls apparently had just left Warwick High School prior to the accident.
